You Too…Can Have Dinner With The President
The President recently filmed a campaign ad inside the White House possibly violating FEC campaign finance laws. This video was to promote a “Dinner With The President” raffle to raise money for his re-election campaign. That got me thinking…what would the dinner and menu look like? Here is one version…
Please note: The menu drafted by the lawyers is actually 2,700 pages long but since nobody is going to read it anyway, here is the first page. And to answer your question…NO!…you do not have to eat the food to know what’s in it Nancy!
This elegant meal will be served with the finest “Let me be clear” crystal and “We borrowed it from” China…all placed neatly on the finest linen with pinched “pre-1967″ borders. I hope you bring your wallet with exact bills because the American people have no more tolerance for “change”.
Hopefully in 2012 this will be “The Last Supper”!

One that knows what it means to love this country, one that appreciates what our service men and women have sacrificed to make this the place where anyone that is born in this country can run for office, even if they have openly stated that they hate it and want to change it into what they think we need. Our founding fathers must be rolling in their graves to see what has become of this country.

Voters? Anyone who doesn’t register to vote until someone from ACORN pays them to register should not vote. Voting is not a right; it’s a privelege. The founders only allowed landowners to vote; people who had an investment in the country. Too bad that went by the wayside. Don’t get me wrong, they didn’t have it perfect. Allowing women to vote was a good thing, but the whole ‘register everyone who has a driver’s license’ thing is just plain wrong-headed! Let there be some kind of method of verifying that a voter has some qualifying reason to vote, not just be over 18 and alive (except Chicago). Kids used to understand how the state and federal governments were supposed to work. Today you almost can’t find young people who can even name the three branches of government. The ignorant voting for the stupid!

I used to be middle class also, but since Obummer took office, I have become lower class. I was on my way to being a teacher and Obummer and The Governator took care of that for me. I had a classroom, now I work part time at a home improvement warehouse and substitute teach when I can. I make about 2/3 less than I used to make. Middle Class, what’s that???
Since “this president” (and I use the term loosely, because you have to know how to be leader of people not a ruler of them) has been in office, my husband has been laid off of work 3 times from 3 different jobs. Not that I’m complaining because WE absolutely LOVE: not having enough money to pay our bills or buy our medicine and not having health insurance. We enjoy having to decide between buying food or medicine because my husband and I make $10.00 too much in Unemployment Insurance and Social Security Disability to get food stamps. I have Medicare because of a disability that doesn’t allow me to work anymore but Medicare doesn’t cover most of my meds so I have to pay out of pocket for them(my husband has to pay full price for his). I also have to pay over $100.00 a month for my Medicare coverage out of my disability check, which isn’t much(the check). I could have sworn I paid for Medicare while I was working for all those years, obviously I was mistaken! My husband can’t get COBRA Insurance because if he did, we would be homeless. While we enjoy doing all these things, I have to wonder: What has Congress and the president given up for us? Did they say “no” to their raises and did they “redistribute” the money to those folks who really need it? That would be those in the United States, not foreign countries.
76% of the people in this country cannot get a loan from a bank because their credit has been ruined by layoffs and company closures. No one in gov’t counts the people that can’t recieve Unemployment Insurance because their benefits have come to an end and they can no longer get anymore extensions. The gov’t penalizes you if you take a job that is lower paying than what you made before your layoff. If the gov’t would have given each family in America $1 million dollars of the so-called bail-out money instead of giving it to the big companies they could have pulled this country out of the recession that we’re supposedly not really in. Most responsible families would have: paid off their bills, bought a home, a new car and would have even given tourism a shot in the arm, because they could afford to take their families on a vacation.
Big gov’t could take a few lessons from housewives, househusbands and low income families who have had to learn how to make ends meet. They know how to say “no” when they can’t afford something. They know how to save up for the things they really need or the things they want. They know what’s affordable and what is not. How do I know this: I’m a housewife that raised a family on a shoestring budget.

The Washington Post babbled again today about Obama inheriting a huge deficit from Bush. Amazingly enough, a lot of people swallow this BULL.
So once more, a short civics lesson.
Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democratic Party.
For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budgets.If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.
If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself.
In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is I inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th.
There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on! This is your chance to make a difference. Stay Focused, Connected, Informed & Inspired.

When a family spends more than they make, they don’t just order an employer for more money to cover it. The government should learn to live within their means, just like a family does (well, responsible families, anyway.) Quit spending. Work harder/smarter.

For only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country. I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242 thousand dollars for my vacation in Spain .
My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time. Honestly, you just haven’t lived until you have stayed in a $2,500..00 per night private 3-story villa at a 5-Star luxury hotel.
Thank you also for the use of Air Force Two and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times. By the way, if you happen to be visiting the Costa del Sol, I highly recommend the Buenaventura Plaza restaurant in Marbella ; great lobster with rice and oysters! I’m ashamed to admit the lobsters we ate in Martha’s Vineyard were not quite as tasty, but what can you do if you’re not in Europe , you have to just grin and bear it?
Air Force Two (which costs $11,351 per hour to operate according to Government Accounting Office reports) only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2. These are only rough estimates, but they are close. That’s quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.
I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet. So I do appreciate your sacrifices and do hope you find work soon.

Bill Clinton did not balance the budget; the budget looked balanced due to a bubble of huge proportions on Wall Street. It was all just make believe dollars. I suppose you believe the figures on unemployment and growth from the government is true. They are all just made up and rules changed to suit their needs.
Who are the rich you want to tax? How about stopping the EPA from forcing companies to build outside the country by tying them up in red tape and studies here when they want to build. How about taxing companies like GE who made all their profits by doing business outside the US and then not paying any taxes on the billions in profits.
How about making government benefits match the private sectors benefits. Maybe you all heard of the constitution, it is not a guide but rules to be followed. Stop affirmative action because we are all Americans first and foremost. No special privileges for anyone.
How about welfare and social security for only American citizens. Now here is one, you must have one parent be a citizen for your child who is born here to be a citizen. How about only the voters can change pay and benefits for congress.

Never was, never will be. It is a republic. A democracy (majority rule) will not work long term because the majority (the have-nots) will always try to take from the minority (the haves). Example, two wolves and a sheep trying to decide what’s for dinner.
Raising taxes is not the answer to this problem. We doin’t have a revenue problem (unless you consider those who aren’t paying any, let alone their fair share); we have a spending problem. Congressmen and women are more interested in being reelected than doing what is right for the country. Until that changes, they cannot be trusted to serve the needs of the nation. We must cut spending on unnecessary prgrams, departments and projects. Nearly every area of the budget could stand some cuts, but there are whole departments that could (and should) be abolished with little or no consequences, other than the unemployment of their personnel. Examples would include the departments of education and energy, among others.
The fair tax would be a great improvement for our nation, and would, unfortunately for them, unemploy tens or hundreds of thousands of accountants and tax lawyers. For my money, they can go get jobs that actually produce something, instead of being ‘overhead’. Well, enough venting of my spleen.
